Niniola Apata was born on December 15, 1986. She grew up with music running through her veins, determined to make it as a recording artist in Nigeria's tough entertainment industry.

In 2013, she appeared on Project Fame West Africa's sixth season. The competition platform gave her the exposure she needed to launch her professional career.

Her debut single "Ibadi" dropped and caught the attention of industry gatekeepers. The song was solid enough to earn her a nomination for Most Promising Act to Watch at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
