Super Bowl LVII was still weeks away when Ndamukong Suh walked into the Philadelphia Eagles' locker room as a veteran defensive force. At 37 years old, the American football legend was chasing his third Super Bowl ring in a career that had already redefined what it meant to dominate the defensive line.

Ndamukong Ngwa Suh was born on January 6, 1987. His college years at Nebraska turned him into one of the most decorated players in American football history. As a senior in 2009, he won the Associated Press College Football Player of the Year Award, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, the Chuck Bednarik Award, the Lombardi Award, and the Outland Trophy.

The Detroit Lions selected him second overall in the 2010 NFL draft. That year, Suh claimed Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. He would earn four All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections during his time in Detroit, establishing himself as one of the league's most feared defensive tackles.

In 2015, Suh became the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. The Miami Dolphins signed him to a six-year contract worth over $114 million, with nearly $60 million fully guaranteed. The contract stunned the sports world. Yet he was released after just three seasons.
