"Ooin." That single word made Adebowale Adedayo a household name across Nigeria.
The actor and comedian was born on May 3, 1993. By 2019, Mr Macaroni—as he is popularly known—had turned social media into his stage. His satirical skits went viral, featuring unforgettable characters like the corrupt politician "Daddy Wa" and the terrifying lecturer "Professor Hard Life." Nigerians couldn't get enough of his catchphrases: "Freaky freaky," "You are doing well," and of course, "Ooin."
But comedy was only part of the story. Adedayo moved into film, landing roles in productions that would define his career. He appeared in Aníkúlápó in 2022. In 2022 and 2023, he won the Trendupp Awards' Force of Influence award—recognition for commanding the highest influence in the Nigerian social media space.
