About Don Toliver

"No Idea" was still climbing the charts when Don Toliver became one of Houston's hottest new names.

Caleb Zackary Toliver was born on June 12, 1994. He would later adopt the stage name Don Toliver as he pursued his music career. Like many rappers from Houston, the city's trap sound shaped his artistry from the beginning.

His debut mixtape, Donny Womack, dropped in 2018 with perfect timing. One day before Travis Scott released Astroworld, Toliver appeared on the album as a guest. The exposure caught the attention of Scott himself, and within the following week, Toliver signed to Cactus Jack Records, a joint venture with Atlantic Records.

The real breakthrough came in 2019 with "No Idea." The single exploded on TikTok before crossing into mainstream success. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 and earned triple platinum certification from the RIAA. The song proved Toliver was more than a feature artist—he was a solo force.

His 2020 single "After Party" repeated the formula. Another TikTok viral moment led to Billboard Hot 100 entry and triple platinum status. That same year, his debut studio album Heaven or Hell arrived to critical acclaim. The project peaked within the top ten of the Billboard 200, establishing him as a legitimate album artist.

Toliver maintained momentum with Life of a Don in 2021 and Love Sick in 2023. Both albums reached the top ten of the Billboard 200. He also appeared on Internet Money's 2020 single "Lemonade" alongside Nav and Gunna, which cracked the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

His trap-centered album Hardstone Psycho arrived in 2024 and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The single "Bandit" became a top 40 hit. In 2026, Toliver released Octane, his fifth studio album and his first to top the Billboard 200. Singles "Tiramisu" and "ATM" supported the project's success.

Don Toliver transformed from a guest appearance into one of Houston's most consistent hitmakers.
