Animal was still echoing through underground clubs when Asher Swissa established himself as psytrance's most prolific architect.
Asher Swissa is an Israeli music producer and DJ who has been shaping the psytrance sound since 1998. His work spans two decades of electronic music innovation. Based in Israel, he emerged from a generation of producers experimenting with fast-paced, psychedelic techno rhythms.
His band Skazi became the vehicle for his most ambitious productions. Together, they released their debut CD "Animal" in September 2000. The album announced Swissa's arrival as a serious force in electronic music production.
Recognizing his influence, Swissa founded the Chemical Crew label. This independent imprint became a hub for psytrance experimentation and artist development. Through Chemical Crew, he nurtured emerging talent while maintaining creative control over his own releases.
