Alexander Chuka Iwobi was born on May 3, 1996. His football education came early at Arsenal, where he rose through the academy ranks with quiet determination. By 2017, he had won the FA Cup with the Gunners and tasted European football at the highest level.

At Arsenal, Iwobi became a regular fixture in midfield. He reached the EFL Cup final in 2018 but finished as runner-up. The following year brought another near-miss when Arsenal made the UEFA Europa League final in 2019, only to fall short again. Yet these experiences hardened him as a player.

His senior international career began in October 2015 when he made his debut for Nigeria.
