Labour Party crisis a child’s play compared to APC, PDP – Peter Obi

The LP has recently been thrown into crisis leading to the
Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC leadership calling for the resignation of party’s
national Chairman Julius Abure.

The Abure-led National Working Committee, NWC, of LP went
ahead with its national convention which held in Nnewi, Anambra State, on
Wednesday and reelected Abure to continue.

However, the NLC annulled the national convention that
restored Abure, and his National Working Committee.

To fill the vacancy, the stakeholders stated that the
Congress will form a transition committee to supervise the party’s business
until new officers are chosen in three months.
