IGP Egbetokun has redeployed CP Moshood as Lagos Commissioner of Police, emphasising security enhancement, operational efficiency, and community engagement improvements.
In a strategic move to enhance security and improve operational efficiency, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has redeployed CP Jimoh Moshood as the new Commissioner of Police for Lagos State.
CP Moshood brings a wealth of experience to the position, having previously served in critical roles such as CP Communications Ops at Force Headquarters, Force Public Relations Officer, and CP Eastern Port in Rivers State. His background in communications, administration, and public relations, combined with operational expertise, positions him to lead the Lagos State Police Command effectively.
According to a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, CP Moshood’s appointment aims to strengthen coordination among police units, enhance community engagement, and uphold professionalism in law enforcement across Lagos.
Egbetokun also charged the new Commissioner of Police to prioritise the rule of law, enforce discipline, and implement proactive security measures to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state.
