Group to Tinubu: Appoint Ndanusa pioneer MD of North Central Development Commission

A group has urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint Sani Ndanusa as the pioneer managing director of North Central Development Commission.

The group, in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja Monday, stated that Ndanusa had in the past demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership, and commitment to the cause of service delivery and his grassroots and interpersonal relations in the country through selfless service.

The statement signed by the coordinator, Tinubu/ Shettima 619 groups in North-Central, Ambassador Abdulmumin Salau, on behalf of the group pointed out that Ndanusa at one time was managing director of Niger State Water Board that witnessed monumental achievements in the area of provision of water to Minna and its environs.

His remarkable and unprecedented feats led to his been appointed as Hon. Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Ministry of Sports Development .His era was described as the ” Golden era” of sports.

“Ndanusa is a great team player, an icon whose penchant for excellence and achieving set-goals goals remains legendary. As a politician he is a great political colossus as well as an advocate of politics without bitterness for instance during the last gubernatorial elections in Niger state in 2023, after osing to the incumbent Gov. Umar Bago at the primaries without much ado, he merged his campaign team with the winner and they worked for the success of  Bago in the state election  and the emergence of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu/ Shettima in the presidential elections in 2023.

 The group said Ndanusa’s experience in public milieu, will help to move NCDC to the next levels if appointed as the pioneer managing director.
