Zamfara lawmaker constructs N200m Juma’at Mosque for constituents

The House of Representatives member, representing Maru and Bungudu local government areas in Zamfara state, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu, has constructed Juma’at Mosque in Kekun Waje village in his constituency. 

Commissioning the mosque Wednesday, Hon. Zubairu stated that the project cost him N200 million. 

He said the project comprised befitting toilets for the betterment of worshippers. 

Hon. Zubairu who was represented by the state secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Ibrahim Umar, stated that the gesture is in line with Hon. Zubairu’s readiness to ensure propagation of Islam in his constituency. 

He further stated that Hon. Zubairu had constructed three block of class room in Kadauri village, istalled nine solar motorized boreholes in different locations and  210 hand pump boreholes in each of the 21 political wards in his constituency with a view to ensure provision of potable drinking water among the benefiting communities.

“Hon. Zubairu also provided 508 solar street light in Bungudu town and connected Ruggar Kaya community with national greed among other projects that have direct bearing to constituents within his two years in office,” he said.
