Governor Dauda Lawal has signed two Executive Orders prohibiting the sale of unlabelled bread, packaging of bread in sacks, sale of over 50-litre of petrol in a jerrycan, and the use of vehicle with tinted glasses in Zamfara State.

Governor Lawal signed the Executive Order on Tuesday in his office at the Government House in Gusau, the State capital.

A statement by the spokesperson of the Governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, on Wednesday, said Executive Order No. 02 and Order No. 04 2024 addressed various concerns identified as contributing factors to the security challenges in the state.

He said the restriction order was issued due to recent attacks in some communities across the state.
