‘We have crossed the rubicon’ — Shettima says history will remember Tinubu as decisive leader
Vice-President Kashim Shettima says history will remember
President Bola Tinubu as a decisive leader, who guided Nigeria towards posterity
and stability.
Speaking at the breaking of the Ramadan fast with members of
the federal executive council (FEC) on Tuesday, Shettima said the president is
not shying away from making decisive decisions.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential
spokesperson, said the vice-president described Tinubu as a tenacious leader
who is committed to steering the nation toward sustained growth and progress.
“Leadership requires sacrifice, tenacity of purpose, and
commitment. We have crossed the Rubicon and the nation is on the path to
sustained growth. Some nations have gone through worse cases in the annals of
their history than us,” the statement reads.
