Transfer: Barcelona eyes Wilfred Ndidi, Arsenal midfielder

Super Eagles’ Wilfred Ndidi could be heading to La Liga giants Barcelona next summer.

The midfielder is said to have caught the interest of the Spainish side who looking to bolster their midfield with Ndidi alongside Arsenal’s Jorginho on free transfers.

TEAMtalk, citing Spanish sports daily Mundo Deportivo, reports that Barcelona are keen to bring in Jorginho.

Ndidi, 27, a defensive midfielder, has contributed four goals and six assists in 30 appearances this season.

Barcelona are reportedly not alone in their pursuit of Ndidi as Galatasaray are also closely monitoring the player’s situation.

Additionally, the report claims Everton could join the race for Ndidi if they are forced to sell midfielder Amadou Onana this summer.
