The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has in a statement signed by its National President, Khalil Muhammad Bello commended the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, for his outstanding leadership in promoting peace and unity across Nigeria.
This praise comes as the Sultan marks his 10th year on the throne of the Sokoto Sultanate, a highly influential traditional institution in West Africa.
KACRAN highlighted several key achievements of the Sultan’s leadership, including the reunification of Nigerian Muslims, strengthening of Jama’atu Nasrul Islam, fostering inter-regional harmony, principled leadership, and openness to counsel.
The Association acknowledged the Sultan’s pivotal role in bridging the decades-long divide among Nigerian Muslims, fostering unity within the Muslim community. His efforts have achieved near-universal alignment on important religious observances such as Ramadan commencement and Eid celebrations.
KACRAN also recognized the Sultan’s success in revitalizing Jama’atu Nasrul Islam, establishing it as a leading Islamic organization in Nigeria and beyond.
His work in building bridges of understanding and mutual respect between people from the northern and southern regions of Nigeria has been particularly noteworthy.
The association lauded the Sultan’s consistent advocacy for peace and unity, his willingness to offer counsel on matters of national importance, and his commitment to fairness and justice for all Nigerians.
KACRAN called upon other traditional rulers and political leaders to emulate the Sultan’s exemplary leadership in fostering peace, understanding, and unity among Nigerians.
The association extended its heartfelt congratulations to the Sultan on his decade of remarkable service and prayed for his continued success in the years to come.
