Salam Congratulates Adeleke On Successful LG Elections In Osun

Hon. Bamidele Salam has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke on the successful conduct of the 2025 local government elections in Osun State. The lawmaker commended the governor for his exemplary leadership and composure throughout the entire electoral process.

Salam, who represents the people of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency at the National Assembly, further urged the victorious candidates to demonstrate magnanimity and humility in their triumphs, emphasizing the importance of unity and service to the people.

In a statement issued shortly after the elections, Rep. Salam praised Governor Adeleke for his remarkable “calmness and maturity” in navigating the challenges and provocations that arose during the electoral process.

He commended the governor’s unwavering focus and his steadfast efforts in safeguarding the integrity of the elections, despite attempts to undermine the powers vested in state governments by the Nigerian constitution.

“The remarkable turn out of voters today is also a vote of confidence in the administration of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke who has piloted the affairs of Osun state creditably in the last two years,” Rep. Salam said.

Salam, who’s the leader of Osun caucus in the house of Representatives also commended the leadership and staff of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission(OSSIEC) for their steadfastness and dedication to the sacred duties of conducting elections in a very challenging atmosphere.

Additionally, Rep. Salam extended his commendations to the Osun State electorate for their peaceful and orderly conduct during the elections.

He praised the voters for showing exemplary civic responsibility, contributing to the smooth running of the polls.

As the election results are finalized, Rep. Salam called on the newly elected local government leaders to remain focused on the welfare of the people and serve with integrity.
