Rangers celebrate U-17 team for impressive showing at NPFL Youth League exploit

Rangers have hosted members of its U-17 team that featured at the recently concluded playoffs of the Nigeria Premier Football youth league.

The brief event took place at the boardroom of the clubs headquarters office in Enugu.

The General Manager of the Flying Antelopes, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, praised the players, coaches, and officials for their massive representation of the club.

He described the feat performed by the players on the pitch as worthy of commendation.

DAILY POST reports that Rangers were awarded the Fair Play award and Most Disciplined Club in the competition.

“I must say that I am very happy having you here after your solid display at the NPFL U-17 Youth League in Benin,” he stated in his address.

“We are very proud of what you have been able to achieve for us as a club and state. The competition was for you to understand the playing pattern of the club as well as get a little exposure and develop your mindset.

“You are champions in every sense of it as our sponsor, Afrinvest is very proud of your exploits at the competition. I thank you so much on behalf of the Governor of Enugu state, Dr. Peter Mbah, and the management of Rangers.”
