Ramadan: Zamfara APC chair donates 100 bags of rice, N10m to party executive

The Chairman, Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, has donated 100 bags of rice and N10 million to the party executive in the state to observe their fasting with ease.

Handing over the money and rice to the state secretary of the party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar, Saturday, in Gusau, the chairman said the gesture was in appreciation of the hardwork, dedication and support of the party leaders towards the success of the party at all levels.

He further noted that the gesture was also part of his initiatives to improve the welfare of party leaders and to motivate them to be more proactive in the development of the party.

The Chairman also congratulated the Muslim Umma in the state for witnessing this year’s Ramadan fast.

He called for special prayers for lasting solutions to the security challenges facing the state during the month and beyond.

Hon. Tukur described the month of Ramadan as a period of sacrifice, total devotion and repentance in order to have Allah’s blessings and forgiveness.

He also implored the well-to-do in the society to use the period to assist the poor, less privileged, widows and orphans to attract more blessings from Allah.

Danfulani then thanked party leaders for their constant support and assistance to the party members across the state.

On his part and on behalf of the executive, the state secretary of the party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar, thanked the chairman for the gesture, assuring that the donation will be shared judiciously.
