The Chairman of the inauguration and hand-over committee of the Imo state governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha, Chris Okewulonu, Sunday described the litigation against the incoming governor as ineffective.
He spoke in Owerri, adding that the Ihedioha’s victory was a collective efforts of the people of the state.
Okewulonu, who was a former Secretary to the Imo state government, in his thinking said that Ihedioha’s emergence would end nepotism and that he would also run an inclusive system of governance.
He said the top priority of the incoming administration would be more practical in dealing with the basic needs of the people of Imo state.

Okewulonu gave a picture of Ihedioha’s style of administration that ” Emeka Ihedioha’s government is one that from the beginning, consistently defined an ambitious agenda for his administration that is anchored on high standards of procedure, rigorous adherence to due process, and excellence in the delivery of results.
“In line with the high standards which are expected to constitute the defining hallmarks, in all ramifications of his administration in Imo State.”
He added that the “Calibre and pedigree of members of the Inauguration Committee, has once again demonstrated Ihedioha’s unwavering commitment towards restoring sanity, pragmatism and the spirit of thoroughness in the affairs of government.
“His Excellency, engaged in a meticulous selection of the committee’s membership from diverse backgrounds, with persons who have distinguished themselves in respective fields of endeavour, will indeed make our assignment less cumbersome.”
However, it should be recalled that the governor-elect on Tuesday April 9, 2019 inaugurated his planning/Hand over committee, with Okewulonu as the chairman, ahead of May 29th official swearing-in into office. The committee is said to have about 13 sub-committees.Source:
