If your business only operates in a particular city or metropolitan area, then be sure to add the name of the city as part of your keyword. Doing so will boost your local search standing and is more effective in earning more customers for your business than other forms of offline advertising.
Consider Past Successes
Look over traffic data from your recent blog posts and consider which ones were the most effective in not only getting people to come to your site, but also in generating sales. Using keywords that you have found to be successful in the past is often a good idea, as people may be gravitating to your site because they want to learn more about that particular topic.
