A video of a female student of Lead British International School, Abuja, being bullied by her schoolmate has sparked outrage on social media.

On Monday night, an X user, @mooyeeeeeee, called for justice for a female student of the school who was bullied by her classmates.

Alongside a video of the incident, she wrote, “There’s a video I’m about to post. I need you guys to help me get justice for (sic). She was bullied in her school by her classmates at Lead British School, Abuja. Pls make it go viral so she can get justice.”

In one of the videos, the victim was seen being slapped 18 times by another female student while asking “Who broke my heart?”

In another video, she was beaten in one of the school’s empty halls.

The victim has now been identified as Namtira Bwala.

Reacting, Nigerians on the X called on the school to ensure justice is served.

Here are some comments DAILY POST gathered:

@Jesusgbemi wrote, “It’s disheartening to watch Namtira being bullied. The school management, along with Maryam and her associates in the circulating videos, should be held accountable and brought to justice. SAY NO TO BULLY #JusticeForNamtira

@OloriofOloris, “Omo it’s not enough for the girl to be expelled, I need her and her family members flogged and slapped in return. I need her blacklisted from other schools and then taken to Cele for deliverance. #JusticeForNamtira

@akop_tech, “It’s really disheartening to see this lady being bullied, painful thing is been bullied by her fellow lady not by a guy, why send your children to big schools and they get to face this kind bully is clearly wrong. Namtira is the victim and Mayram is the villain. #JusticeForNamtira”

@theefejohnson, “Everybody saying she should have fought back doesn’t know how bullies work.

“It’s first psychological. They established some sort of dominance over time before ever hitting her. I know because I was in a high school that had “Queen bees.” This made me mad! #JusticeForNamtira”

@Nichevo_ya, “If one student is bullying another student brazenly like this, then how can we be sure that #LeadBritishSchool does not foster a bullying culture in their school? There must be #JusticeForNamtira”
