The All Progressives Congress, APC, has disclosed that the 16 governorship aspirants in Ondo State jostling for the ticket of the party ahead of the April 20 gubernatorial primaries in the state will soon be screened.

The national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, who disclosed this, assured the aspirants of a level playing field during the party’s primaries.

Speaking through the deputy national organising secretary of the party, Nze Chidi Duru, the national chairman, emphasised that the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party is committed to ensuring that the rules guiding the conduct of the primary election are strictly adhered to.

He also told opposition parties in the state that the ruling party will be victorious during the November 16 polls, stressing that the APC will retain its hold on the state.
