NWSL: Bay FC’s stadium fully booked ahead of Oshoala’s home debut

The 18,000 capacity PayPal Park, San Jose, has been fully booked ahead of Asisat Oshoala’s home debut for National Women Soccer League, NWSL, outfit, Bay FC.

Bay FC will host Houston Dash in their first-ever home game in the NWSL on Sunday.

Oshoala was made the poster girl of the pre-match flyer.

“Bay FC, the new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), will host the club’s first home match Saturday, March 30, (3am on Sunday in Nigeria) at PayPal Park in San Jose. Bay FC’s inaugural game is sold out,” the club announced on their official website.

The Nigeria international joined Bay FC from European champions Barcelona last month.

The forward has made an impressive start in the United States of America scoring on her debut against Angels FC.

She also bagged an assist in the 2-1 defeat to Washington Spirit last weekend.
