Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has pledged to stay out of trouble after his recent legal confrontation with the Ogun State government.

This comes just after the singer was granted bail of ₦2 million in relation to accusations of assaulting government officials at his bar.

After being previously listed as wanted, Portable turned himself in to the police and was subject to judicial proceedings before being released.

Following his release, the singer posted a music video on social media, pledging to focus on earning money and steering clear of trouble.

Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, he wrote: “Alhamdulilahi for everything ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God ✍.”

Portable, famous for his outspoken nature and frequent run-ins with the law, seems to be adopting a more restrained approach going forward.

Yet, fans remain divided on whether he can genuinely avoid further controversies, considering his past behaviour.
