Nasarawa United qualify for NNL Super Eight playoff

Nasarawa United earned a berth in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff after holding Zamfara United to a 1-1 draw.

The Solid Miners finished in second position in the Northern Conference Group C behind El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.

Zamfara United went in front through Namadi Ahmad in the 40th minute.

The visitors equalised two minutes later through Terdoo Shimagande.

Sokoto United and Sporting Supreme FC have already qualified for the playoff from Northern Conference Group D.

Madiba FC and Beyond Limits FA are in pole position to secure qualification from Southern Conference Group A.

The Southern Conference Group B tickets is still open and could be decided on the final day.

Four teams will gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League from the NNL.

The winner of the 2023/24 season will be decided in the Super Eight playoff.
