The Northern Nigerian Frontiers for the Advocacy of Youth Engagement, Priorities, and Inclusion in Governance has commended Nasarawa State governor Abdullahi Sule for appointing Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, as the secretary to the state government (SSG).
In a statement issued yesterday, the group’s president and convener, Barr. Faruk Tanko Tunga described the appointment as a commendable move that underscores the governor’s commitment to competence, merit, and youth inclusion in governance.
“Hon. Magaji’s extensive experience as a former attorney general and commissioner for Justice, combined with his deep understanding of governance, legal frameworks, and policy formulation, makes him a strategic asset to Nasarawa State,” Tunga stated.
The group highlighted that Magaji’s appointment sends a strong message to young people and students, demonstrating that leadership opportunities are increasingly based on competence, dedication, and hard work.
“We laud His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi Sule for making this bold decision, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to youth engagement and inclusive governance,” the statement added.
“This should inspire young people to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence, knowing that their contributions to nation-building will not go unnoticed.”
The advocacy group assured Governor Sule of its continued support in advancing the collective progress of Nasarawa State.
