A Federal High Court in Lagos, on Friday jailed cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, with no option of fine.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro handed down a six-month sentence to Okuneye, who has been in detention since his arrest last week.
During Friday’s sitting, there was drama in court as Bobrisky confessed being a man.

Before he was handed a 6-month jail term, Justice Awogboro asked the convict of his sex, and he quickly replied, “I am a man, My Lord.”

The judge subsequently sent him to Ikoyi Correctional Centre in Lagos and ruled that the jail term commenced from the day of his arrest.
