Matthew commends Remo Stars Ladies’ players despite defeat to Bayelsa Queens

Remo Stars Ladies head coach, Wemimo Mathew has commended his players despite the defeat to Bayelsa Queens.

The Sky Blue Ladies suffered a 3-1 defeat against Bayelsa Queens at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Wednesday.

Mathew said his players gave their all in the game.

“Remo Stars Ladies did their best, you know in the game of football you win some, draw some and lose some,” he stated in a press conference.

“But I give kudos to my girls as they fought till the end.

“Bayelsa Queens’ second goal shocked my girls, but in all, they played a good game”.

Remo Stars Ladies have recorded 12 points from 11 games.
