Man Utd players ‘expecting Ratcliffe to sack Ten Hag’

Manchester United players expect manager Erik ten Hag to be sacked by new minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Ten Hag is enduring a miserable second season at Old Trafford, after winning the Carabao Cup last year.

Back-to-back defeats against Fulham and Manchester City leave United facing an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League.

The Red Devils will have done little to dissuade Ratcliffe that a change of management is required to kickstart his revolution.

The British billionaire has turned down the opportunity to back Ten Hag in his public interviews.

And according to the Daily Mail, United’s squad feel a change of management is the most likely consequence of a mediocre campaign.

Ratcliffe has already made several key changes behind the scenes with the likes of Sir David Brailsford set to play a key part in a major overhaul of United’s infrastructure.
