Man assassinated in front of his house in Ogun

A middle-aged man identified as Olumide Danisa Ifeoluwa aka Tescom has been killed by unknown gunmen in front of his house in Abeokuta, the state capital on March 31. 

 

The Ibara Divisional Police Officer received a distress call that a shooting had occured in the area. The DPO raced to the scene and found a corpse later identified as that of Olumide Danisa Ifeloluwa “Tescom” in the pool of his blood lying lifeless.

 

It was gathered that the deceased was shot in the head by two gunmen who alighted from an unregistered Toyota Corolla vehicle, ash Colour, and released shots while Olumide was sitting outside his house at about 7.55pm and fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to the State Hospital Ijaiye where the duty doctor confirmed him dead. His remains has been evacuated to the Hospital morgue for autopsy.

 

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, SP Omolola Odutola, said no arrest has been made, but the Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun psc has been briefed and he has directed the Area Commander Metro Abeokuta to commence a preliminary investigation.
