Leicester City have sacked first team coaches Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock.
The move comes after a disastrous run under manaer Ruud van Nistelrooy that has see the Foxes lose the 11 of the last 15 games – a run which, barring a miracle, will almost certainly see the club relegated to the Championship again after a one-season stay in the Premier League
Both Dawson and Alcock joined the club at the start of the 2024/25 season, serving under both Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy, while also overseeing a brief spell in interim charge of the First Team squad.
A statement from Leicester City said: “We place on record our thanks to Ben and Danny for their contribution and service and wish them both well in the next steps of their respective careers.”
The Foxes are currently second-to-bottom of the Premier League, five points from safety with only 12 games of the season remaining.
