Lagos police arrest physically challenged drug dealer

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 52-year-old physically-challenged man, Adamu Ileyasu, for alleged drug dealing.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this in a post on Friday, March 29, 2024, said the suspect was nabbed by officers attached to the Akinpelu Division. 

“A physically-challenged man has been arrested by officers from Akinpelu Division. Information was received from concerned Nigerians that he was a drug dealer,” the PPRO said.

“Upon his arrest, his bag was searched and found in his possession were weed suspected to be Indian hemp and tramadol capsules. Investigation is ongoing to apprehend his supplier and others in the supply chain.”
