Kaduna: Defence Minister Badaru confident abducted Kuriga students will be rescued soon



Abducted students of Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State will soon be rescued, the Minister of Defence, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, has assured.

Speaking on Thursday in Kaduna while addressing troops of 1 Division in the frontline of fighting bandits in the North-West and other parts of the country.

The Minister also assured Nigerians that the killers of military officers and soldiers in Okuama community of Delta State would be fished out to face the wrath of the law.

The visit to the 1 Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna, according to the Minister, was essentially to encourage them not to give up the battle, assuring them that very soon, Nigerians would be singing victory songs.


He told the troops that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of their sacrifices and happy with their efforts.

According to the Minister, “We have the power, will, strength and determination and our morale is high to end insecurity. I know what you have been doing to rescue the school children unhurt, keep the morale high, the President is behind you one hundred percent.”

He stated that he has been briefed about their efforts to rescue the kidnapped school children and is confident they will succeed.
