Is Nigeria ready for free market economy?

We are a bunch of problems to ourselves in Nigeria. The majority of us don’t have any sense of patriotism. Rather than work to make the country work, a few individuals prefer to frustrate every policy that seems to benefit the masses for their selfish interests.

Because oil marketers know that Dangote and Port Harcourt refineries are likely to crash the pump price of petroleum like with diesel, they’ve decided to create artificial scarcity just to exploit the public.

Nigerians are buying fuel ranging from N690 to N850 a litre for no justifiable reasons. Queues have returned to a few NNPC outlets that are selling petroleum products because people can’t afford to buy at the ridiculous prices marketers are selling.

This is so unfair.

Maybe Nigeria is not qualified to run a free market economy just yet.
