Idoko appointed new Heartland general manager

Experienced football administrator, Mike Idoko has been appointed General Manager of Heartland Football Club of Owerri.

Idoko’s leadership experience is expected to help steer Heartland from relegation zone.

The Naze Millionaires have struggled to make positive impact on their return to the top-flight.

He was spotted with the team during the matchday 24 fixture against Katsina United at the Muhammed Dikko Stadium on Saturday.

His appointment is expected to be finalised before Heartland’s Oriental derby clash with Abia Warriors on Wednesday.

Idoko previously worked with Warri Wolves, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, among other clubs.
