The people of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) yesterday, March 21, celebrated their annual fishing festival in Rivers State.

The festival took place at the Oboburu Community ponds.

Community members gathered in their numbers to fish in the mud for Mud Fish.

They succeeded in catching hundreds of Mud Fish which they arranged in heaps on the ground before eventually distributing to members of Ogba Land.

Residents later took to X (formerly Twitter) to share photos of the fish given to them following the successful fishing festival.
