A group, led by the coordinator of Tinubu/ Shettima 619 Coalition, Ambassador Abdulmumin Salau, Thursday, lauded Alhaji Sanusi Babban Takko, the chairman Upper Benue River Basin Authority, for his support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu/Shettima Renewed Hope Agenda.
The group in a statement made available to our correspondent in Abuja stated that: “We have been following the track records and tenacity of Alhaji Takko, the Barayan Bauchi and chairman Upper Benue River Basin, right from the formative stage of the APC Presidential Campaign and we have no doubt in our mind of his commitment to and pragmatic support for President Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria.”
The statement, signed by Ambassador Abdulmumin Salau, the coordinator, Tinubu/ Shettima 619 Coaltion, added that “moreso, Alhaji Takko has always been one of the vocal voices in promoting President Tinubu’s policies and programmes since the coming on board of the present administration. In fact, he has made us proud and he is seen as a well-grounded politician that is always there for the realisation of Jagaban’s vision of working for the common good of all Nigerians.
“It is our sincere belief that his appointment as the chairman Upper Benue River Basin Authority will usher in prosperity and prompt service delivery to the entire people of North-east region as well as Nigeria in the area of agriculture, provision of water and infrastructural and human capital development.
