Galatasaray close ‘to capture Super Eagles star’

Turkish side, Galatasaray is on the verge of signing Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel this summer after reaching an agreement.

As reported by Panenka, Osayi-Samuel, who recently rejected a contract extension offer from their Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe, was convinced to join Galatasaray in June 2025, thanks to encouragement from his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen.

Fenerbahçe has announced that the club will part ways with Osayi-Samuel at the end of the current Turkish Super Lig season, after his refusal to sign a new contract.

The 27-year-old defender has been with Fenerbahçe since 2021, during which he made 168 appearances and recorded 7 goals and 14 assists for the club.
