The national coordinator of G37 political support group, Prince Comrade Evans City, has Commended President Bola Tinubu, for establishing Federal University in Ogoniland, describing it as the heights of love for the marginalised youths of the oil producing community.
Evans, a prince from Ogoni community of Bere in Ken-Khana District Khana LGA, one of the communities with highest deposit of oil and gas said Tinubu had shown greater commitment to alleviate the suffering of the people arising from the oil exploration in the past years.
“I am happy with Mr. President for giving my people attention after several years of neglect resulted in poor sanitation, sickness and hunger in the land blessed with abundant resources, yet did not enjoy it”, he stated.
He said the resumption of oil exploration in Ogoniland is a good step that will attract more investments that will create employment for the thousands of youths roaming on the streets.
The national youth activist called on the youth from the Ogoni Kingdom to reciprocate the gesture by declaring their unalloyed support to the government of Bola Tinubu.
“I would like to implore my brothers and colleagues in Ogoniland to come out to defend the university and the oil refineries as well as be good ambassadors to our dear president who has chosen us as his own instead of another land.
“We should begin to see President Tinubu as our father and one of us in Ogoniland for what he is doing for us.
“Let us be armed to the teeth with the gospels of bringing fresh air to Ogoniland and we must be resolute in our defence of him anytime and anywhere devoid of violence”, he appealed.
Prince Evans who’s G37 has followership in the 36 states of Nigeria and Diaspora appealed to opposition to desist from attacking President Tinubu’s administration, said he meant well for the people.
