FCT police arrest another wanted kidnap kingpin in Nasarawa

The FCT Police Command has said that its operatives have arrested the second most wanted kidnapper, Samaila Wakili Fafa, alias Habu Ibrahim.

The FCT CP, Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday, said the second kidnapper was arrested about 7pm when operatives stormed a kidnappers’ den in the Sadauna Forest in Nasarawa State.

He said, “You can recall that the suspect is one of the two notorious kidnappers the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Nyemso Wike, placed a N20m bounty aon, as the other one, Saidu Abdulkadir, alias Dahiru Adamu, had earlier been arrested by the command.”

He added that the suspect had confessed that he masterminded and executed several kidnappings in the FCT and its environs, including the abduction of one Barrister Chris Agidy, a legal aide to Senator Ned Nwoko, and the late District Head of Ketti, Mr Sunday Yahaya Zakwai.

He further said the suspect led the police operatives to where the remains of Barrister Chris Agidy was dumped, which he noted was removed and deposited at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
