Ex-Chelsea striker Chris Sutton names two worst divers in football

Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has taken aim at Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, labeling them as the top culprits of diving in football.

He didn’t hold back in his criticism of the two European superstars, accusing them of frequently resorting to diving tactics to gain an advantage on the field.

In a passionate outburst, Sutton singled out Kane as the worst offender, suggesting that the England national team captain often escapes scrutiny due to his prestigious status.

Despite acknowledging Kane’s exceptional talent as a goalscorer, Sutton condemned his propensity for simulation.

Regarding Fernandes, he didn’t mince words, asserting that the Portuguese midfielder is among the worst divers he has witnessed in the sport.

Sutton said (via Football Talk): “Bruno is one of the worst. Harry Kane is the worst I’ve ever seen, but you can’t call him out since he’s England captain.

“He gets away with it week in and week out – all the time. Brilliant player, wonderful goalscorer, but he’s a diver.”
