Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has predicted that Liverpool will beat Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s Premier League fixture.
Berbatov expects Jurgen Klopp’s men to defeat Spurs this weekend.
Tottenham head to the game following a 2-1 defeat against Watford in their last game, while Liverpool won 2-1 against Leicester City.
“Liverpool have got off to a great start, winning every game and playing good football,” Berbatov told Betfair.
“The team looks very balanced and it’s going to be very tough for Tottenham, despite home advantage.
“Both teams have plenty of internationals so they’re in a similar boat and it might, in fact, be an opportunity for one of the sides to try and catch the other one out with a quick start; to try and set a trap they wouldn’t be expecting.
“I expect both teams to score as they usually do in this fixture, but I’ll have to edge towards Liverpool to win it.
“There’s been talk about Harry Kane ‘struggling’ but what do people expect him to do? Fly? I can’t see any problem with the way he’s playing,” he added.
The kikck-off time for the match is 12:30pm.Source:
