Don?t succumb to extortion - Lagos police spokesperson advises man who went to Maroko police station after his office was burgled and was told to pay N100k for mobilization

The Lagos police command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has advised a Nigerian man not to succumb to any form of extortion. 

 

The man had earlier come on X to lament after his office was burgled and laptops and other valuables were carted away. In an update given, the man said he visited the Maroko Police station to report the case and he was allegedly asked to bring N100,000 for ‘mobilization’.

 

Reacting to the post, Hundeyin said the man should not succumb to any form of extortion and asked him to speak to the Divisional Police Officer in person.
