Manchester United legend David Beckham played with the best players of his generation during his career.
He played for Man United in England, Real Madrid in Spain, Paris Saint-Germain in France and AC Milan in Italy.
The former England international, who represented the Three Lions 115 times, also had a spell in the Major League Soccer for LA Galaxy.
The former Man United winger was a part of Real Madrid’s Galacticos era that had players like Raul, Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and others.
At Old Trafford, he had the pleasure to play with the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel and many more.
At Milan, Beckham had the opportunity to play with Ronaldinho, Paolo Maldini, Andrea Pirlo and many other legends.
However, while naming his best ever teammate, he snubbed the Red Devils legends and named French World Cup winner Zidane.
In response to the question, “Who was the best player you ever played with?” posed by former Man United colleague Gary Neville during an interview on Sky Sports’ “The Overlap Xtra“, Beckham said:
“Apart from you [joking about Neville]? Zidane!”
Zidane enjoyed a career that most football players would envy. He won the World Cup and the European Championship with France.
At club level, he guided Real Madrid to Champions League triumph by scoring an iconic goal in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
