Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho at the club.

The English winger impressed for the Bundesliga club in their Champions League semifinal against Paris Saint-Germain.

Sancho helped Dortmund to a famous 1-0 win against the Ligue 1 champions in the first leg of the semifinal.

He looked out of ideas and dejected back at Old Trafford but playing for the German giants, he looked like a completely different player.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund are hopeful of keeping the Man United player at the club.

German Bundesliga have received a major boost as the fifth placed team in the league will now qualify for the Champions League after their better co-efficient.

With Dortmund sitting in fifth position in the league, they will be able to take part in the Champions League again next season.

The funds they will receive from their qualification to Europe’s biggest competition will help them sign their transfer targets.

Romano claims that this accomplishment was critical to their financial plans for the upcoming season and that Sancho’s chances of remaining there have only grown.

They are eyeing moves for two players owned by Premier League clubs; Man United’s Jadon Sancho and Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen.

The English winger was sent on loan to Dortmund to resurrect his career after his public feud with Man United boss Erik ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho could be heading out of Man United in a permanent move soon.

However, his performances for the Bundesliga club could help Man United earn a sizeable transfer fee for him.

Sancho is unlikely to rejoin Man United as long as Erik ten Hag is in charge, which presents the Red Devils with an excellent opportunity to profit from a player who looked out of touch and disinterested just a few months ago.

Jadon Sancho is unsure about his Man United future

After his impressive performance in the semifinal, Sancho was asked about his future.

He told CBS Sports Golazo:

“I really don’t know [if I am going to stay]. I am just focused on the present right now.”

After his struggle at Old Trafford, he would definitely want to stay at the Bundesliga club and keep showing how good he can be.

This could also help Sancho’s case for a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad in the future.
