BREAKING: Former Bauchi Senator Gumau Is Dead

BAUCHI – Former lawmaker representing Bauchi South Senatorial District, Senator Lawal Yahaya Gumau, is dead.

Lawal Yahaya Gumau died after a brief illness in Abuja at the age of 57.

A former aide of the former Lawmaker, Comrade Haruna Usman Muhammad, confirmed the incident through a chat with our correspondent on Saturday morning.

Recall that Senator Gumau first represented the senatorial district in 2018 after winning a by-election following the death of Senator Ali Wakili.
