A mobile handset dealer has told an FCT High Court that one of the children whose kidneys were removed by a hospital bought phone from him shortly after.

Abdullahi Mohammed, who runs a shop in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, testified that Oluwatobi Salmon Adedoyin came to his shop on February 20, 2023 to buy a phone of N290,000.

Being led in evidence on Thursday by prosecution counsel, Hassan Tahir Esq, the witness said he gave the boy his bank account details where the sum of N500,000 was transferred in his favour.

“I asked him why he overpaid me, and he gave me an Opay account to send the balance of N210,000 back and he left my shop,” the witness said.
