One of the gamemasters of Fosla Academy attempted to either influence, or manipulate the result of the 400m Girls Heat 2, after the race coordinator had concluded that Gbemisola Jaiye of Fosla Academy (Karish) finished in the third position, behind Kelechi Oko of GSS Karu.
The gamemaster claimed that Oko slowed down her athlete, Jaiye; by impeding into her track, and insisted that the second position should be given to his student.
Today’s events at the Karu Centre will see the students battle it out in field events like Javelin, Shotput Long Jump and High Jump.
