Barrister Olatunji Badru has been conferred with Champion of Faith Award by the Assemblies of God (AGN), Enugu Headquarters, at an impressive ceremony held in Enugu, Enugu State, at the weekend.
Presenting the award to Barrister Badru, the General Superintendent of the AGN, Enugu Headquarters, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka, disclosed that the award was given to people who had impacted positively to the brethren and contributed to the propagation of the gospel.
He described Barrister Badru as one who had been fighting the good of faith and bearing the reproach of Jesus in and outside the church.
Responding, Badru thanked the Assemblies of God Church, Enugu Headquarters, for singling him out of the Edo Central District of Assemblies of God Church for such a national honour.
His words: “I see the award as a great honour. I don’t know that people are watching my little contributions in the church of Christ.”
He stressed that the award would spur him to do more, even as he promised to carry the banner of Christ for the rest of his life.
