Abia Warriors head coach, Bethel Oji has confessed his team laboured to a 1-0 win over Bayelsa United.

Oji claimed that his tactical intelligence played a crucial role in helping his side secure maximum points in the game.

Samson Obi’s late minute strike secured the win for the hosts.

“It wasn’t an easy task, Bayelsa United are a very big side having played on the continent with good players and good tradition,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Our tactical changes gave us an edge in the game.”

Abia Warriors occupy 11th position on the table with 41 points after 30 games.
