Zulum Presents Staff Of office To 13th Shehu Of Dikwa

In a historic event, Borno State Governor Professor Governor Babagana Umara Zulum presented the staff of office to the 13th Shehu of Dikwa, Alhaji Ibrahim Ibn Umar Ibrahim El-Kenemi in a ceremony at Dikwa.

The staff of office formally recognised the Shehu’s appointment and symbolised his authority.

The Commissioner of Local Government and Emirates Affairs emphasised the importance of the staff of the office.

Governor Zulum also reaffirmed his support for traditional institutions.

Dignitaries present at the event included the Deputy Governor of Borno State, Alh. Umar Usman Kadafur; APC Deputy National Chairman (North)

A delegation of royal fathers from Borno other parts of Nigeria and Cameroon were led by the Shehu of Borno and the Sultan of Sokoto.

Top government officials from both federal and state levels, commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants, and special assistants.

The event was marked by colourful displays of horsemen with the Shehu riding to show his allegiance to Governor.
